Out of the comfort zone - Xinyin

The 4 days out of my comfort zone -away from the mundane and homely lifestyle- have appeared more prolific an experience than I imagined.

Despite the long, tedious and hectic days, the tight schedules for activities increased the adrenaline rush of excitement in the children as well as the counselors. Copious joy and laughter filled the air through the camp. That kept everyone in an upbeat momentum, though physically deadbeat. Not only did the children immerse themselves in thorough fun, I believe that they have gained in a way or another (be it a lesson or knowledge, or even love), imprinting a memory that will stay close their hearts when they look back in retrospect.

Consequently, under the influences of the impressively energetic children and convivial volunteers, the camp is concluded to be better than I expected. Intrinsically, genuineness is the key to making a difference in lives. The camp has proven it, and it is one event that we will “plead the fleeting moment to remain”.
